Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s security forces for eliminating 19 terrorists affiliated with the banned group “Fitna al-Khawarij” during a successful intelligence-based operation in District Orakzai. He especially lauded the courage and sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab Rahat, and nine other brave soldiers who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. “Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif set a shining example of leading from the front — a hallmark of the Pakistan Army’s proud tradition,” the Speaker National Assembly noted.
Reaffirming the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces and security institutions, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that they remain fully committed to eradicating terrorism and eliminating extremist elements like “Fitna al-Khawarij” from the country. He emphasized that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security personnel in the war against terrorism will never be forgotten or go in vain. “Terrorist elements will never succeed in achieving their nefarious designs,” he asserted.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and expressed complete solidarity with them in this time of grief. He prayed, “May Allah elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience and strength to their loved ones.”
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces and salutes their unmatched courage and dedication in defending the country. “The sacrifices of our security forces are a source of pride for the entire nation,” he concluded.
