Islamabad:Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousuf has said that the Umrah Act has been approved. Sardar Mohammad Yousuf said that the pilgrimage is not a fun or business journey, it is a journey of worship under the commands of Allah and His Messenger. The Minister of Religious Affairs said that it is difficult to make the economic system of the entire country an Islamic economic system, but to the extent of Hajj matters, we can enforce Islamic laws in financial matters. He said that from 2013 to 2018, we did five Hajj during my ministry. Sardar Yusuf said that the Ministry of Religious Affairs is responsible for all the pilgrims of private and government schemes. We have to make a policy according to Saudi teachings. Minister for Religious Affairs said that this year, Hajj policy was approved by the Federal Cabinet for the next Hajj (2026), it was decided to allocate the private scheme quota of 30 % and 70 % of the government scheme, on the direction of the Prime Minister. He said that like China, Pakistan will have to focus on increasing exports to Saudi Arabia on the occasion of Hajj and Umrah. He said that it would be our first attempt to perform Hajj with the least package of 2026, the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajj and Umrah Exhibition will cooperate with “with Islam”.
