Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali Khan has reiterated that Pakistan will never recognize Israel, affirming that the federal government firmly stands by the position held by the Palestinian people and the Muslim Ummah.
He stated that Pakistan’s relationship with the United States is now based on equality and mutual respect, emphasizing that the country is fully sovereign in making its own decisions.
Ikhtiar Wali Khan expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of the Hazara Journalists Association, led by President Luqman Shah. The delegation included General Secretary Naveed-ur-Rehman, Finance Secretary Muhammad Pervaiz, Vice Presidents Syed Naveed Jamal and Malik Murtaza, Joint Secretary Tayyab Khan, Information Secretary Arshad Tanoli, and Governing Body members Umair Khan Abad, Abrar Wali, Atta-ur-Rehman, and Tasawwur Kamal.
The Prime Minister’s Coordinator further remarked that Pakistan’s provinces are already divided on linguistic lines, and any further division on the same basis would not be in the national interest.
