ISLAMABAD: Renowned singer Humaira Arshad has publicly criticised actor and musician Fawad Khan’s inclusion as a judge on the new season of Pakistan Idol, arguing that individuals without a strong musical background should not be chosen for such roles.
Speaking on a TV programme, Arshad remarked, “It’s disappointing to see people who have little connection with music sitting as judges. If I advise an engineer on technical work, it would be absurd — this is no different.”
Her comments have reignited debate
