ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has blocked overseas travel for 10 officials, including two additional directors, amid a corruption investigation at the National Counter Corruption and Intelligence Authority (NCCIA).
Three intermediaries have also been added to the Prohibition from Leaving the Country (PNLC) list to prevent evasion. Authorities have obtained bank and financial records of all suspects and formed three separate teams to carry out potential arrests.
Sources said four suspects have voluntarily come forward for questioning. Meanwhile, the Senate Standing Committee on Interior has requested a detailed progress report on the investigation for its next session.
Officials described these measures as part of a wider initiative to enhance accountability and curb financial misconduct within NCCIA.
