CDA Chairman Reviews Progress on Assan Khidmat Markaz Project

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited the under-construction “Assan Khidmat Markaz” along with CDA Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza and relevant officers to review the pace of work, renovation, and overall beautification of the project.During the visit, project officials briefed the Chairman on the ongoing construction activities, informing him that more than 70% of the total work has been completed. They added that construction is progressing at an accelerated pace to ensure timely delivery of the facility.The Chairman was informed that the project is nearing completion and will soon be opened to the public. He was also told that the centre will incorporate modern technology to provide efficient, citizen-friendly services. Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that while fast-tracking the project is important, maintaining top-quality standards is essential and non-negotiable. He directed the establishment of a dedicated CDA counter within the Assan Khidmat Markaz to serve as a One-Window Facilitation Center. He also instructed the CDA IT Wing to begin integration work to ensure seamless delivery of all CDA services at the centre.He noted that once operational, the Assan Khidmat Markaz will enable citizens to access nearly 100 different services from multiple departments under one roof, significantly enhancing convenience and service delivery. The Chairman reiterated that no compromise on quality would be tolerated in completing the project.
