Islamabad: Central Vice President of Pasban Watan Pakistan, Noreen Noor, while speaking to the media, stated that the prevailing parliamentary system in Pakistan has completely failed and has proven to be obsolete and anti-public, pushing the country into severe economic, political, and social crises. She said that this system has neither succeeded in providing relief to the people nor put the country on the path of self-reliance. As a result, Pakistan today is buried under a heavy burden of debt, while the public is suffering from unprecedented inflation and unemployment.
Noreen Noor said that had Pakistan’s strong national institutions, particularly the Pakistan Armed Forces and their leadership, not taken timely and courageous decisions in the current circumstances, the country’s very existence, security, and global standing would have been at serious risk. She emphasized that the Armed Forces of Pakistan have always placed national interest above personal gains and, through unparalleled sacrifices, have ensured the protection and security of the motherland.
She further said that today Pakistan is recognized across the world as an invincible nuclear power. The country’s global stature and identity are the result of Allah Almighty’s help, along with the bravery, professional competence, discipline, and strategic leadership of the Armed Forces. The Pakistan Armed Forces have given a befitting response to the enemy on every front and have particularly shattered India’s arrogance and aggressive designs.
The Central Vice President stated that no hostile country today dares to cast an evil eye on Pakistan, fully aware that the Pakistan Armed Forces possess the complete capability to respond decisively to any form of aggression. Pakistan’s defense strength and military power, she added, are a guarantee of peace and stability in the region.
Noreen Noor said that hostile forces are continuously making failed attempts to interfere in Pakistan’s internal affairs and spread chaos, unrest, and instability, but the Pakistani nation is conscious and will never allow these malicious designs to succeed. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces like a solid wall of steel and is ready to make every sacrifice for the defense of the country.
Strongly criticizing the parliamentary system, she said that this very system is the root cause of Pakistan’s economic decline, corruption, and political instability. Running a nuclear power rich in natural resources on IMF installments is a matter of grave concern for national sovereignty. Wrong economic policies, corruption, incompetence, and self-serving politics have pushed Pakistan towards bankruptcy.
She said that today the people of Pakistan have been deprived of basic human necessities. Prices of food items, electricity, gas, and petrol have skyrocketed, making it difficult for the common man to afford even two meals a day. This failed parliamentary system, she said, is snatching the morsel from the mouths of the people, benefiting only a select few while completely ignoring the masses. The public has grown disillusioned with this system and now outrightly rejects it. Genuine change and stability in the country, she stressed, are only possible by abolishing this failed system.
Noreen Noor announced that her party will continue a peaceful, constitutional, and democratic struggle to rid the people of this outdated and failed system. Pasban Watan Pakistan stands with the country, with state institutions, and with the Pakistan Armed Forces, and will not compromise on Pakistan’s security, sovereignty, and national dignity under any circumstances.
