TCS, Nippon Express Forge Strategic Logistics Partnership to Strengthen Pakistan’s Global Connectivity

Islamabad: TCS Group, one of Pakistan’s most established and trusted logistics conglomerates, has formalised a strategic partnership with Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan’s Nippon Express Holdings, Inc. As part of the agreement, the Nippon Express Group has acquired a minority stake in TCS Logistics (Private) Limited.
The partnership is expected to enhance Pakistan’s connectivity with global markets by combining Nippon Express Group’s extensive international network with TCS Logistics’ nationwide infrastructure and operational expertise. Pakistani businesses and consumers are set to benefit from improved access to international trade lanes, while Nippon Express will strengthen its footprint in Pakistan by leveraging TCS’s trusted customer base and local market knowledge.
Commenting on the development, Saira Awan, President of TCS Group, described the partnership as a landmark moment for both TCS and Pakistan’s logistics sector. She said the collaboration reflects growing international confidence in Pakistan’s market fundamentals and will enable TCS to deliver world-class, integrated supply chain solutions that connect local businesses to the global economy.
Over the past four decades, TCS Group has built a strong reputation for reliability, service excellence and nationwide reach. TCS Logistics, a core arm of the group, operates a comprehensive domestic infrastructure encompassing land transportation, warehousing, distribution and cross-border logistics services.
Through this collaboration, TCS Logistics aims to contribute to the modernisation of Pakistan’s logistics ecosystem by introducing technology-driven services and value-added supply chain solutions tailored to evolving customer needs.
In a statement, Nippon Express said the partnership would allow the group to leverage TCS Logistics’ domestic network to strengthen its operations in Pakistan. The company added that it plans to enhance trade corridors linking Pakistan with Central Asia, focusing on the development of new logistics services and the identification of emerging market opportunities.
