AJK PM Condemns Afghan Aggression on Pak-Afghan Border, Praises Armed Forces’ Robust Response

Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Chaudhry Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has strongly condemned what he termed as unprovoked aggression by Afghanistan along the Pakistan-Afghan border, reaffirming unwavering solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces. In a statement issued from Muzaffarabad, the AJK Prime Minister lauded the Pakistan Army for delivering a firm and decisive response to the hostile actions. He commended the armed forces for their professionalism, operational readiness, and steadfast commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.“ Pakistan’s armed forces have responded with strength and strategic precision, making it clear that any aggression against the homeland will be met with a resolute and befitting reply,” he stated.The Prime Minister emphasized that there can be no compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty. He said the people of Azad Kashmir stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces during this challenging time, reflecting national unity and collective resolve.Expressing confidence in the military leadership, he referred to Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir and stated that under his command, the armed forces remain fully prepared to confront and neutralize any threat to national security. He further underscored that sustainable peace in the region requires Afghanistan to ensure that its territory is not used against neighboring countries. Responsible conduct and concrete measures, he said, are essential for long-term regional stability.Reaffirming the nation’s high morale, the AJK Prime Minister said that prayers of the entire country are with the brave soldiers defending Pakistan on the frontlines. He expressed confidence that all hostile designs against Pakistan would ultimately fail. “Insha’Allah, the enemy will meet its logical end,” he concluded.
