ABU DHABI: The Embassy of Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates has temporarily suspended all in-person consular services until further notice, citing evolving regional security concerns.
In an official circular, the embassy described the measure as a precaution to ensure the safety of both community members and diplomatic staff. The advisory also referred to UAE authorities’ guidance recommending remote working arrangements and minimizing unnecessary presence in public spaces.
The embassy assured that updates on the resumption of services will be communicated through official channels, and Pakistani citizens in the UAE are advised to follow verified announcements and local authority guidelines for accurate information.
The development comes amid heightened Middle East tensions following recent strikes involving the United States and Israel against Iran, which have raised security concerns across Gulf countries.
