Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully completed the final phase of its project “Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Households in Pakistan through Livestock Provision 2025–26,” benefiting 500 households across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Under Phase III, 500 cattle along with two bags of silage per household were distributed in Charsadda (200), Mardan (150), and Nowshera (150). Additionally, 40 training sessions on livestock management, animal health, and breeding practices were conducted to enhance beneficiaries’ skills and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
The initiative directly impacted 3,570 individuals, improving household incomes, food security, and long-term economic resilience.
Implemented by the Peace and Development Organization in coordination with the Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department and Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the project reflects the humanitarian vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower vulnerable communities and promote self-reliance.
