MUZAFFARABAD: Tariq Jameel Durrani has been appointed as Director Public Relations, according to an official notification issued here on Tuesday.
His appointment has been widely welcomed by media professionals and social circles, with many extending congratulations through social media platforms.
Tariq Jameel Durrani is regarded as a highly educated, competent, and experienced officer who has successfully held several key positions during his career. He has previously served in the Revenue Department, the Secretariat, and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Islamabad.
Journalists and social media activists have expressed optimism that his appointment will further improve the performance of the Public Relations Department and enhance effective public outreach.
He is scheduled to assume charge of his office on April 14.
