Islamabad (Islamabadtoday Report): Yahya Sheikh, Chairman of the Police and Civil Administration Committee at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), and Deputy Chairman Zubair Taimoor have strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against the innocent people of Palestine, particularly in Gaza. In a joint statement, they expressed deep concern over the relentless violence against Palestinian civilians, including women and children, calling it a stain on the conscience of the international community.
They criticized the silence of global institutions such as the United Nations, the OIC, and major human rights organizations, urging immediate and effective international intervention to halt the bloodshed and ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza without delay.
Yahya Sheikh and Zubair Taimoor also lauded the nationwide strike observed across Pakistan today, where business centers, markets, and commercial activities remained voluntarily closed to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. They commended the business community and the general public for standing united with the Palestinian cause and sending a powerful message to the world against injustice and tyranny.
The FPCCI leaders called on the Government of Pakistan to raise the issue more vigorously at international forums and to intensify diplomatic efforts to mobilize global support for the Palestinians. They emphasized that the Palestine issue is not merely a political dispute but a grave humanitarian crisis that demands urgent attention and action from the global community.
