ISLAMABAD — A high-level Pakistani delegation, led by the Minister of Defence, is holding crucial talks with representatives of the Afghan Taliban in Doha, seeking immediate measures to curb cross-border terrorist activities originating from Afghan territory. The meeting, facilitated by Qatar, underscores regional efforts to enhance peace and security along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.

During the talks, Pakistan reaffirmed that it does not seek confrontation but expects the Taliban authorities to fulfill their international commitments by taking verifiable and tangible action against terrorist organizations, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
