Federal Information Secretary and PIO Congratulate Newly Elected NPC Leadership

Islamabad:  Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil, along with Principal Information Officer (PIO) Mubashir Hasan, has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the National Press Club, describing the institution as a strong and independent voice for journalists.

In their statement on Sunday, they extended felicitations to Abdul Razaq Sial (President), Ihtisham-ul-Haq (Senior Vice President), Sehrish Qureshi, Usman Khan, and Basheer Choudhry (Vice Presidents), Furqan Rao (Secretary), Abid Abbasi (Secretary Finance), as well as other cabinet members Shiraz Gardezi, Aun Shirazi, Javed Bhagat, and Shakeela Jaleel.

They expressed confidence that the new leadership will play a proactive role in promoting journalists’ welfare, upholding professional standards, and advancing free, responsible, and independent journalism. Both Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil and PIO Mubashir Hasan conveyed their best wishes for the continued success of the newly elected team.
