Rawalpindi: In response to Indian aggression and unprovoked attacks on Pakistani territory, prominent lawyers affiliated with the Rawalpindi District Bar Association – including High Court Advocate Nargis Shabbir Alvi (Additional General Secretary, High Court Bar), Hina Nauman Advocate, Asma Abbasi Advocate, Naeela Faisal Malik Advocate (Vice President, District Bar Rawalpindi), Abida Rafiq Awan Advocate, Nargis Shaheen Advocate, Syeda Nargis Shahzeb Advocate, and Sana Sarfraz Ahmed Advocate (High Court) – strongly condemned India’s recent acts during an exclusive conversation with News Forum, labeling them as state terrorism.
The legal leaders said that India’s cowardly and brutal actions, carried out under the cover of darkness, are not only a violation of international laws but also pose a serious threat to the peace of South Asia. They added that these Indian actions are a continuation of its longstanding policy of false flag operations, like the one staged in Pahalgam, to wrongfully accuse Pakistan. India has not only failed to present any credible evidence but has also avoided impartial international investigations.
The lawyers emphasized that Pakistan’s brave armed forces have always given a fitting and crushing response to the enemy and will do so again. They warned that India’s war hysteria and dreams of regional dominance could lead to devastation not just for India but for the entire region. A war between two nuclear-armed countries is unacceptable under any circumstance, and the international community must take notice of India’s aggressive behavior.
Advocate Nargis Shabbir Alvi stated that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces in defending the sovereignty, integrity, and honor of the homeland. She said that the legal fraternity not only fights for justice in courtrooms but also stands ready to defend the nation whenever the need arises.
Advocate Naeela Faisal Malik warned India that the Pakistani nation is united, and if the situation demands, lawyers themselves will not hesitate to go to the borders. The public, civil society, media, and all schools of thought are united with the armed forces.
Advocate Hina Nauman remarked that the timing of the Indian attack (under the cover of night) is clear evidence of its cowardice, while Pakistan has always responded with courage and valor in defense. She said the lawyer community expresses full solidarity with the armed forces and will raise its voice against Indian aggression on every front.
The lawyers concluded that the time has come to give a firm and decisive response to India’s deception, baseless accusations, and conspiracies to destabilize the region. If India does not back down, the entire Pakistani nation will unite with the armed forces to teach it a lesson.
In the end, all the lawyers prayed that may Allah protect and support Pakistan, and keep the beloved homeland safe from the conspiracies of its enemies.
