Senator Samina Zehri Advocates Purpose-Driven Leadership at Global Forum in Geneva

Islamabad,: Chairperson of the Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights, Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri, powerfully represented Pakistan at the Forum of Women Parliamentarians during the 151st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva.

Addressing the session on “Transforming Leadership: Overcoming New Challenges to Gender Equality,” she emphasized that true leadership is rooted in service, empathy, and purpose rather than power and privilege. Highlighting Pakistan’s progress in women’s empowerment and human rights legislation, Senator Zehri shared her vision of inclusive governance and compassionate reform.
