Muzafferabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Iftikhar Gilani has strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by Fitna al-Khawarij in Hangu. In a special statement, he paid tribute to Pakistan Army Officer Captain Abu Zar Farooq and Lieutenant Shiraz Babar, as well as soldiers Sepoy Shakeel Ahmed, Sepoy Muhammad Usman Aziz, Sepoy Hamza, and Sepoy Ghulam Sajjad, who embraced martyrdom in the attack. Paying tribute to the martyrs, the AJK prime minister said that the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army who sacrifice their lives in defense of the homeland, peace, and security are heroes of the entire nation. Their sacrifices will always be remembered. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, their forgiveness, and patience for their bereaved families. He said that the entire nation stands united with its brave armed forces in the fight against terrorism. The sacrifices being rendered to eliminate terrorism and establish peace and stability in the country will not go in vain. Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani also prayed for the speedy recovery of the personnel injured in the attack.
