Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has contacted National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, urging that a third round of negotiations be held to ease political tensions in the country. PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan contacted Ayaz Sadiq on behalf of the party and stressed the need to continue the dialogue process, saying that negotiations could help move matters towards a positive resolution. He said the party wanted the third round of talks to take place to reduce political tensions and create an environment conducive to political reconciliation. Ali Muhammad Khan also emphasized that all political leaders should be present in Islamabad so that the dialogue process could continue without interruption. He said PTI wanted political differences to be resolved peacefully, without bloodshed or violence. He added that PTI had repeatedly offered the government an opportunity to pursue negotiations and resolve outstanding issues through dialogue The PTI leader said Ayaz Sadiq was currently in Lahore and that a meeting could take place once the National Assembly speaker returned to Islamabad.
