As the sun rises on February 5th, it brings with it a renewed pledge of solidarity with the Kashmiri people, whose resilience in the face of adversity inspires the world. The Kashmiri peoples have been facing oppression since 1948, especially since 1990, and are brutally treated by the government and military forces. They have been facing this issue for decades, living under curfew, getting abducted by the military, direct fire, custody deaths and women discourages are common for the peoples of Kashmir. Yet their spirit is high and they are standing against this fascism and on the 5th of February which is not only a date on the calendar but a symbol of solidarity in Pakistan and all over the world Kashmir solidarity day is celebrated. On this day, Pakistan-we renew our promise of standing with the people of Kashmir and for the justice of peoples. On this day we stand in unison to remind the world that fight for Kashmir is for fight for quality, dignity and human rights. The Indian forces entered their forces In Kashmir in 1947, and after that, they started to systematically torture the people of Kashmir these people faced more than nine thousand casualties and about twelve thousand rapes cases, and numerous abductions and military custody deaths. India is violating international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention about civilians. Despite this level of torture and oppression, the Kashmiri people are standing tall and their spirit remain unbroken against this fascism of the Indian government and we-Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the peoples of Kashmir, and we marked this solemn occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, on which we pledge to be the voice of oppressed in Kashmir, demanding the justice for innocent people. Pakistan from day one raised its voice for Kashmiris on every stage around the globe, trying to highlight the oppression and suffering of innocent peoples of Kashmir. Approach to the international media, highlighting in the platforms like the Organization of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), and the United Nation, especially after the revocation of Article 370 in August 1970. Especially On this solidarity day the hype and importance created by the Pakistan Government and the peoples of Pakistan toward this matter bring the concentration of international media, international human rights agencies, and the United Nation toward this dispute. Despite of UN resolutions and from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) released reports in 2018 and 2019 detailing allegations of human rights abuses in both Indian-occupied Kashmir, India continued to oppress and kill the innocent civilians and there are no such Strick actions are taken against India but Pakistan continues its unwavering supports to the people of Kashmir and to raise voice for them at each stage around the globe. The banners on the road of Pakistan and Capital, Schools and university functions, national and local level seminars, official holidays at school and college level, special decoration and marking day as solidarity at private and government companies, anthem launching from officials, live streaming on Kashmir dispute, television programs, debating and anthem competition and officials tweet from the government of Pakistan and military and most echoing Pakistan public emotional support to the innocent people of Kashmir make this day capable to highlight the issue at the universal level. Not only Pakistan, Kashmir and now other regions of the world recognize this day as a day of solidarity with the people of Kashmir, where individuals and organizations stand for the injustice of Kashmir which brings the Kashmir issue into the light, ensuring that their struggles toward the freedom doesn’t go unnoticed. Kashmir Solidarity Day is not just a gesture, it’s a pledge-pledge to ensure that the voices of innocent Kashmiris never go unsilenced, and the people of Pakistan take this initiative that the global demand for justice for Kashmir never get the end. On this day Pakistan renews its commitment to support the children, women, and the men of Pakistan from day one till freedom. India can silence the voices of Kashmir by oppression but their cry for freedom and Pakistan support makes it possible to echoes their voice all over the world. Each year, as the world observes this day, we send a message loud and clear—no amount of cruelty can erase the call for justice and freedom that Kashmir deserves. The world must hear the cries of Kashmir, and Pakistan will continue to lead the charge, standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Kashmir in their unwavering fight for self-determination.
