Auckland (Special Report): Preparations for the Pakistan Association New Zealand (PANZ) Elections 2025 are in full swing, and the momentum strongly favors the United Front panel, led by seasoned leader Mian Naveed Hameed for President and Chaudhary Kashif for General Secretary.
A major community event held in Auckland today, organized by the United Front, drew an enthusiastic crowd from the local Pakistani diaspora. Large numbers of community members turned up to show their support and register their votes, turning the gathering into a powerful display of unity and excitement.
Mian Naveed Hameed, a respected figure with two terms as PANZ President already under his belt, leads the charge. His running mate, Chaudhary Kashif, stole the spotlight with a compelling speech, pledging unwavering service to the community and a commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s image abroad.
“Under the leadership of Mian Naveed Hameed, our victory is certain. We’re not just running to win—we’re running to serve and uplift our people here in New Zealand,” said Chaudhary Kashif to loud applause.
According to Al Mudassar News Agency, the Election Commission has announced April 14, 2025, as the final date for voter registration, with elections scheduled for April 18. Supporters are already anticipating a clean sweep for the United Front, with celebrations reportedly in the planning phase.
The panel also includes Vice President Umar Khayyam, Joint Secretary Ayesha Kousar, and Treasurer Mushtaq Hussain Bangash, all of whom expressed confidence in a decisive win. “The community’s trust is our strength. April 18 will be a celebration of our unity,” said Bangash.
As election day nears, all eyes are on whether the United Front’s energy, experience, and grassroots support will translate into a sweeping victory.
